Greenhouse Heating Cost Calculator
Turn electrical input, running hours, duty cycle and your own tariff into an energy-cost scenario.
Your planning estimate

How this tool works
A transparent arithmetic scenario, not a weather forecast. Use the heater’s electrical input, not a gas burner output or an assumed heat-pump thermal output. The same currency used for the tariff is used for all monetary results.
Energy = electrical input kW × hours per day × days × duty cycle / 100. Energy cost = kWh × tariff.
What this estimate does not tell you
Fixed charges, taxes, demand charges, variable power, time-of-use tariffs and other equipment are excluded. An assumed duty cycle is not a prediction. A severe cold spell may increase runtime toward continuous operation. Enter measured power and runtime for a retrospective estimate.
